SchoolPulse Funding Opportunity

Northwoods Coalition is excited to announce that we are able to support schools to mobilize efforts related to youth mental health through funding to support the text-based platform: SchoolPulse.

What is SchoolPulse?

SchoolPulse is a proven suicide prevention program and a seamlessly integrated student wellness solution, backed by evidence-based research, that empowers schools to foster academic success, engagement, and positive behavior. These objectives are accomplished in 4 key ways:

  1. Weekly email campaigns
  2. Student wellness resources
  3. Live text-based support
  4. Restorative practice and student success activities

Additionally, SchoolPulse provides schools with a comprehensive mental health resource page that is neatly organized for your staff, parents, and students, providing an immediate increased access to evidence-based and vetted resources.  This is especially useful in our rural areas that have low access to support.  This is the most comprehensive Mental Health Resource for Teens and Parents in the country.

The best part, the work is on the School Pulse team and not your school staff! SchoolPulse is a one-stop-shop to conveniently and effectively meet the mental health needs of your entire school – students, staff, and parents alike.

Testimonies

"SchoolPulse’s kindness to our students and willingness to help our team achieve our suicide prevention and student wellness efforts are unmatched. SchoolPulse is awesome!"

~Emily Kristowiak, School Counselor Tri-County Area SD, WI

"SchoolPulse has dramatically improved our ability to build stronger relationships with students by helping us identify those needing additional support who previously went unnoticed. The program enables us to de-escalate potentially dangerous situations before they worsen, providing valuable early intervention capabilities. Beyond supporting students, SchoolPulse offers excellent resources for our administrative staff to effectively manage and implement the program across our school."

~Jill Alexander, District Principal, Gilmanton School District WI

"School Pulse has been an excellent and awesome resource to support students, staff and families!! Through School Pulse we were able to identify students displaying high risk behaviors putting themselves in danger. We were able to reach these students, keep them safe and provide interventions. The podcasts and work sheet were a valuable tool to supplement SEL curriculum and support classroom instruction. So many wonderful resources all in one place! I cannot say enough positive things about this resource. As a mental health professional working with a school I strongly endorse school pulse."

~Jacquie S, LCSW
