Northwoods Coalition Funding Overview
Northwoods Coalition provides funding in the following ways:
- Northwoods Coalition Projects- Northwoods Coalition Project funding is designed to support member coalitions in utilizing an evidence-based approach to carry out strategies to reduce youth substance use through primary prevention efforts.
- State Opioid Response Projects- SOR funding supports coalitions by providing funding to address opioid and stimulant misuse prevention.
- Prevention Specialist/ Prevention Specialist In Training- Northwoods Coalition provides funding to reimburse prevention professionals for the fees associated with holding a Prevention Specialist/Prevention Specialist In Training certificate.
- Botvin LifeSkills Funding- Northwoods Coalition invests in community organizations, agencies, schools and afterschool based programs by providing funding to both sustain ongoing Botvin LifeSkills programming and assist in the implementation of new programming.
